Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes brings together celebrated fighters from the Marvel Universe and Capcom’s familiar cast in fast-paced 2D tag-team battles. Players choose two combatants and one assist character, then jump into quick-fire arcade-style matches.
The game introduces the Variable System, which lets players swap between fighters smoothly in the middle of combat. Its roster features 15 playable characters, including Ryu, Chun-Li, Spider-Man, and Captain America, as well as hidden fighters such as Onslaught.
Among its signature mechanics is Variable Cross, a feature that allows both characters to attack at the same time for a short period. On PlayStation, the game also adds exclusive modes such as Cross Over and Training, giving players more ways to practice and sharpen their tactics.
