About "Pac-Man"
Pac-Man is a maze arcade game created and released by Namco, debuting in 1980.
Players guide the yellow, circular protagonist through a maze filled with dots, aiming to eat all of them to clear the stage. Four ghosts—Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde—chase Pac-Man, each with unique movement patterns that require learning to avoid capture. Navigating the maze's corridors and dead ends strategically is essential to progress to increasingly difficult levels.
A key feature is the Power Pellets located in the maze's four corners. When eaten, ghosts turn blue and become vulnerable, fleeing from Pac-Man. Eating a ghost sends it back to the central pen, and consuming multiple ghosts during one Power Pellet yields escalating bonus points. Fruit items also appear periodically in the maze center, offering extra points. Mastering these elements is crucial for high scores.
The gameplay demands constant movement and decision-making, as players must find the safest path to eat dots while monitoring ghost positions and Power Pellet availability.
